September 2, Fineko/abc.az. Salaries for primary care physicians, emergency doctors, and specialists working in the regions are set to increase significantly within the TƏBİB system.

Speaking at a press conference, TƏBİB Executive Director Anar Bayramov said the main goal of the pay reform is to encourage doctors to work in the regions and address the shortage of medical personnel.

New salary levels:

Family and district doctors: from 1,150 to 2,000 manats (+74%)

Doctors at the Republican Center for Emergency and Urgent Medical Care: from 1,550 to 2,200 manats

Emergency doctors at medical centers: from 1,550 to 2,500 manats (+61%)

Emergency doctors at Category 3A and 3B medical institutions: from 2,100 to 3,000 manats

Salary increases for the regions (excluding Baku, Absheron, Sumgayit, and Ganja):

Pediatric anesthesiologists and intensivists: from 1,450 to 3,000 manats (+107%)

Neonatologists: from 1,450 to 2,400 manats (+66%)

Hemodialysis doctors: from 1,450 to 2,250 manats (+55%)

Specialists in the regions (gynecology, surgery, traumatology, etc.): from 1,450 to 2,150 manats (+48%)
