June 27, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan may become a potential hub for startups.

ABC.AZ reports that Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov made this statement at the Baku Investment Day festival (Baku ID 2024).

"We can present very attractive investment projects. Our goal is to attract more investments and ideas," Jabbarov stated.

He also emphasized Azerbaijan's emerging leadership in green energy within the region.

"This is linked to the liberation of Azerbaijan's occupied territories and the new context in the region [transforming it into a green zone]," Jabbarov explained.

The Minister noted that geographically, Azerbaijan serves as a bridge between the South Caucasus and Central Asia.
