May 23, Fineko/abc.az. In April 2024, prices for a number of construction materials decreased in Azerbaijan, but there is still a slight increase in the price index for construction and installation work.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that prices for plaster, ceramic tile adhesive, edged boards, chipboard, fiberboard, parquet drywall and cladding declined against 2023. The cost of cement used in the base of the structure increased by 2.2% compared with 2023 and by 1.36% over the past month.

Following Q1 of 2024, the producer price index for construction and installation work grew only by 0.2% versus to Q1 of 2023.
