January 7, Fineko/abc.az. In Azerbaijan, entrepreneurs will be able to determine the code of the commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity of goods themselves in advance through portal e.customs.gov.az, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Customs Committee (SCC).
To do this, in the Commodity Nomenclature section, select subsection Commodity Nomenclature Recommendation System.
When you enter a trade name, brand, or keyword about a product into the search box, you get an approximate result of the CN code. The work of the artificial intelligence-based search module is based on descriptions of goods declared to the customs authorities over the past two years.
The codes recommended by the search results are only auxiliary.
This innovation will allow entrepreneurs to calculate customs payments in advance and receive a list of necessary documents for goods, which will help eliminate the cost of time and resources, as well as make customs clearance easier and faster.
