Thus, the U.S. has begun to take steps to prevent China's access to advanced technologies. One of them is the restriction of access to modern semiconductors and equipment for the production of chips. The U.S. government has already taken measures in this direction. The new restrictions are designed to correct and fill in the gaps in the previously announced rules.

The Biden administration is seeking to strengthen control over the sale of graphics chips and modern equipment for the production of chips for artificial intelligence programs to Chinese companies.
