Georgian airline launches flights to Azerbaijan

August 25, Fineko/abc.az. The Georgian airline Georgian Wings, a subsidiary of Geosky, will start operating flights on the Tbilisi-Baku-Tbilisi route from September 6.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the airline that flights will be operated three times a week - on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Tickets are not yet on sale on the airline's website.

Georgian Wings, which until now has been operating flights 12 times a week on the Tbilisi-Batumi-Tbilisi route, has recently purchased 70 Italian-French-made ATR-72 passenger aircraft. This will allow the airline to switch from domestic to international flights, increasing its fleet.
