What is level of retail sales in eurozone?

June 6, Fineko/abc.az. European statistical office Eurostat has published retail sales data for the EU and the Eurozone for April.

Retail sales in the EU increased by 0.1% in April compared with the previous month and decreased by 2.9% versus April 2022, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign press.

Retail sales in the eurozone in April remained stable against March, down 2.6% compared with April 2022.

Among the EU countries, the highest decrease in retail sales compared with the previous month was observed in Slovakia by 5.8%, Romania by 3.7% and Slovenia by 2.4%.
