April 4, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL) intends to increase the number of flight destinations to 62 this year, ABC.AZ reports, quoting airline’s first vice president Samir Rzayev.

He added that AZAL is interested in cooperation with international airlines.

"Currently, about 30 airlines use our airports. We expect this indicator to increase in the coming years. The number of requests from foreign companies regarding the organization of flights to our country has increased. A few days ago, Hong Kong Airlines applied to us. They want to organize flights from Hong Kong and a number of cities in China. We also cooperate with many online platforms. AZAL is interested in the development of Azerbaijani tourism and will continue to assist in this," Rzayev said.
