February 28, Fineko/abc.az. The construction of the Goradiz-Jabrayil-Zangilan-Agbend road (Zangezur corridor) with a total length of 123.6 km has been completed by 73%, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Agency of Highways of Azerbaijan.

According to the Agency, 202 out of 265 ring pipes have already been laid (32 are under construction), 26 out of 41 rectangular pipes (4 more are under construction), and 12 out of 27 bridges along the road have been built (12 bridges are under construction).

A dirt foundation has been laid on a 70.2 km section of the highway. Currently, the construction of the road foundation is ongoing on a number of sites and asphalting works are underway. On a 35 km section of the road, work has been partially condicted on laying the lower and upper layers of asphalt concrete pavement. Work continues on other sites.

The Agency plans to complete most of the construction work by 2025.
