February 17, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani citizens will be exempt from theoretical and practical examinations when replacing driver's licenses in the United Arab Emirates.

ABC.AZ reports that this was reflected in the draft law on the approval of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministries of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan and of the UAE on mutual recognition and replacement of driver's licenses."

The bill was submitted for discussion and adopted in the 1st reading at today's plenary session of Milli Majlis.

The Memorandum of Understanding between the MIAs of Azerbaijan and the UAE on mutual recognition and replacement of driver's licenses was signed in Abu Dhabi on 16 November 2022. It will enter into force upon receipt of the last written notification of completion of all procedures.
