January 5, Fineko/abc.az. The prices of some motor vehicles imported in Azerbaijan from abroad increased sharply in the first days of 2023.

ABC.AZ reports that the price increase is linked mainly with the prices of spare parts for buses.

So, it was found that from the first days of the year, spare parts for buses have risen in price by 40-50%.

Since spare parts for most models of buses widely used in passenger transportation in Baku are imported from Turkey, the price increase is noticeably higher.

So, amid the significant reduction in the cost of the currency of the fraternal country, there has recently been an increase in the cost of spare parts for buses imported from this country more than by 50%.

Considering that most of the modern buses operated in public transport in Baku are Turkish-made, it becomes clear to what extent the price increase has hit this industry.
