December 29, Fineko/abc.az. A complaint has been received in connection with the 3rd gift campaign for the purchase of two Baku-Istanbul and return tickets announced by Azerbaycan Airlines (AZAL) some time ago.

ABC.AZ reports that it was informed that the campaign intended for evening flights applies to both one-way and round-trip tickets from December 26 to January 8.

But on social networks they share information about the airline's non-compliance with the specified campaign. Facebook user Rahman Mammadli claims that he bought a ticket to Istanbul and back for his wife under the specified conditions, but he was not given the promised third ticket: "I wrote to AZAL, they said it counts as one ticket. I bought a ticket for myself and applied to AZAL again to get a third ticket. Now they say that the campaign refers to tickets of the same reservation, then they say that tickets must be purchased at the same time. It would be better to say one thing: we do not give. What can we do if they retract their words?"

We have contacted AZAL to clarify this issue. In response to our request from the institution, it was stated that in order to receive the 3rd air ticket as a gift, you should buy tickets simultaneously for two people in one direction.

"Within the framework of the current (2+1) campaign conducted by AZAL, only with the simultaneous purchase of 2 air tickets, the airline offers the 3rd air ticket as a gift," the company said.
