December 15, Fineko/abc.az. The 9th meeting of the Azerbaijan-Georgia Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation has been held in Tbilisi.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Cabinet Ministers that the meeting was chaired by Prime Ministers Ali Asadov of Azerbaijan and Irakli Garibashvili of Georgia and heads of two countries’ relevant governmental bodies.

PM Asadov noted that this year Azerbaijan and Georgia are marking the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. It was stressed that over the past years both states’ relations have reached the level of strategic partnership. Satisfaction was expressed with the development of ties in the political, economic, investment, energy, transport, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

The importance of mutual support within the international organizations was noted during the meeting.
