May 11, Fineko/abc.az. In April 2022, nonoil exports grew by 22% up to $238.3 million.
ABC.AZ reports that the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms & Communications distributed information about the growth in the value of nonoil exports over the past 4 months (Jan-Apr).
"21.6% of non-oil exports accounted for foods and 78.4% for nonfoods. The growth of food exports made up 6.2% for the month. The cause was the increase in exports of chocolate and products made from it by 2 times, hazelnuts by 52.5%, tea by 19.4%.
In other crucial food products, exports are relatively smaller compared to 2021. In April 2022, the non-oil sector played an important role in the country's exports," the Center’s report says.
