Before the start of operation of Chovdar deposit, the economically viable volume of gold in oxide ores was approved in the amount of 212,000 ounces, and the completion of operational work was planned for 2020. Planned geological exploration and drilling operations with the involvement of international consulting companies and with the use of modern technological innovations on the part of CJSC allowed to increase the volume of oxide ore in the upper layers of the deposit, and also created an opportunity for processing transit and sulfide ores in deeper layers of the deposit.
