April 19, Fineko/abc.az. According to the updated forecast of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Azerbaijan's economy will grow by 2.8% this year.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the April issue of IMF World Economic Outlook, growth of 2.6% is expected in 2023.

In the October forecast for 2022, an increase of 2.3% was predicted.

As for other forecasts, according to the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan, real GDP growth this year will be 3.9%, and according to the forecasts of the Asian Development Bank -3.7%.

According to WB’s latest forecast, real growth will be 2.7%.

Azerbaijan's economy grew by 5.6% in 2021.
