March 11, Fineko/abc.az. Multinational investment bank Goldman Sachs Group has released a new forecast on the US economy.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign media that the bank's forecast on the US economy is disappointing. Thus, the bank lowered its forecast for growth this year.

The deterioration of the bank's forecast is caused by rising oil prices and increasing prices for other commodities against the background of Russia's military intervention in Ukraine.

Earlier, the bank expected US’ GDP growth in 2022 at the level of 3.1%. Currently, the forecast has been lowered to 2.9%.
