October 15, Fineko/abc.az. "40.1% of GDP production accounts for the industrial sector in Azerbaijan that is significantly higher than the global average of 24.8%, ABC.AZ informs with reference to the report of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms & Communications.

For comparison, the share of industry in GDP is 27.2% in Central Europe and the Baltic States, 21.5% in the eurozone and 21.1% in the OECD countries.

"The share of the non-oil sector in the industrial structure is growing even faster in Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan is developing in accordance with the requirements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution," according to the report.
