April 9, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan's currency reserves are likely to increase much until the end of the year.

Elman Rustamov, chairman of board of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, says that since the beginning of the year the reserves have grown by $2.2 bn.

"By the end of 2018 currency reserves are expected to increase much, as reserves are used economically and transfers to the State Budget have been reduced. Besides, volume of imports has been reduced as well," Rustamov said.
