Central Bank sold $46.9 million to banks at a currency auction

February 18, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has held a currency auction with the participation of the State Oil Fund.

The CBA said that $46.9 million was sold to banks at the foreign exchange auction on 18 February.

"The demand from banks at the auction amounted to $46.9 million and was fully met," the CBA said in a statement.

According to the auction results, the average weighted exchange rate of the manat to the US dollar was AZN 1.70/$1.
