January 14, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has conducted a foreign exchange auction with the participation of the State Oil Fund.

The CBA reports that $100.1 million was sold to banks at the auction on 14 January.

"Demand from banks at the foreign exchange auction amounted to $100.1 million and was fully met," the CBA said in a statement.

As a result of the auction, the weighted average exchange rate was AZN 1.70 to the US dollar.
