December 29, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has published some forecasts for next year.
ABC.AZ reports that according to the baseline scenario, country’s real economic growth rate in 2021 will be 3.4%, including 3.1% in the non–oil sector.
"The beginning of the process of restoring external demand, as well as the recovery of domestic demand at the expense of the deferred demand, is at the heart of the forecast of economic growth recovery. Maintaining the macroeconomic stability will be one of the key factors contributing to bringing economic growth closer to its potential in 2021. Countercyclical macroeconomic policies and the start of reconstruction work in the liberated territories will also revive the main drivers of economic growth in 2021," the forecast published by the country's main bank said.
