December 15, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has conducted a currency auction with the participation of the State Oil Fund.

The CBA reports that it sold foreign currency for $70 million to banks at today’s auction.

"The demand from banks at the currency auction amounted to $70 million and was fully provided," the CBA said in a statement.

As a result of the auction, the weighted average exchange rate of the manat to the US dollar reached AZN 1.70.
