October 21, Fineko/abc.az. SOCAR has started investing in the Georgian economy since 2006, and has created thousands of new jobs so far.

ABC.AZ reports that the above-said statement was made by SOCAR president Rovnag Abdullayev, who is on a visit to Georgia.

He noted that the Kulevo oil terminal, gas distribution network and gas stations are currently operating in Georgia.

"In addition to commercial activities, the company implements various socially-oriented projects in Georgia," Abdullayev said.
