February 2, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijani delegation led by Economy Minister Shahin Mustafayev is to pay a visit to China on 5-7 February.

The Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan informs that the purpose of the visit is participation in international conference on the theme "The Role of Trans-Caspian international transport route in Belt & Road initiative”.

At the conference Minister Mustafayev will present Azerbaijan’s transit potential and will hold negotiations with leaders of the Turkish, Kazakh and Georgian delegations.

"The official opening of the office of Azerbaijan’s Trade House will be held in Beijing within the visit of the Azerbaijani delegation," the MoE said.

Besides, business forums will be organized in Beijing and Xian. Presentation of investment climate in Azerbaijan will take place in the city of Sian at the initiative of the ‘Silk Road’ International Chamber of Commerce on 7 February.
