October 29, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan forecasts overall economic growth in the country at 1.3% in 2026 and 2.3% in 2027, CBA governor Taleh Kazimov stated at a press conference.

He added that non-oil GDP growth will make up 2.8% this year and 4.3% next year:

"In 9 months, economic growth has reached 1.5%. As of the end of September, non-oil GDP grew by 2.6%. Among the industries that make the main contribution to growth of the non-oil economy are tourism, trade, communications and other service sectors. Our forecasts are optimistic, and, in particular, our expectations for the current year have been adjusted upward."
