Azerbaijan Posts AZN 3.96 Billion Budget Surplus as Revenues Exceed Target

October 29, Fineko/abcnews. Azerbaijan’s state budget recorded revenues of AZN 29 billion 311.8 million and expenditures of AZN 25 billion 348.2 million during the first nine months of 2026 (January–September), resulting in a fiscal surplus of AZN 3 billion 963.6 million.

According to the Ministry of Finance, state budget revenues outperformed the targeted AZN 28 billion 524.4 million projection by AZN 787.4 million, or 2.8%. The revenue overperformance highlights sustained economic momentum and strong revenue collection across the national economy.
