October 28, Fineko/abc.az. The price of a barrel of Azerbaijan's benchmark "Azeri Light" (CIF) crude oil decreased by $5.11, or 4.01%, to settle at $122.49 in global markets.

In the previous trading session, Azeri Light was priced at $127.60 per barrel. Azerbaijan’s state budget for the current year is based on an average oil price benchmark of $65 per barrel, meaning current market prices continue to trade nearly 88.4% above budget projections.

Historically, the all-time low for Azeri Light was recorded on April 21, 2020 ($15.81 per barrel), while its all-time peak reached $149.66 per barrel in July 2008.
