September 16, Fineko/abc.az. The structural index of trade complementarity (TCI) of Azerbaijan with other Turkic states is: with Turkey - 56.8%, with Uzbekistan - 35%, with Kyrgyzstan - 27%, with Kazakhstan - 19-20%, and with Turkmenistan - 16%.

Nazim Imanov, the director general of the Institute of Economics of the Ministry of Science & Education, noted that this indicator, which varies from 0 to 100, at first glance indicates the complementarity of the economies, but due to the similarity of the range of exported and imported products, the potential trade indicator is significantly reduced.
