September 11, Fineko/abc.az. President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed an order approving the "National Action Plan on the Development of Competition and Prevention of Monopolistic Activity for 2027–2029." The measure aims to strengthen a free market environment, eliminate monopolistic practices, expand business and investment opportunities, and ensure sustainable national economic growth.

Under the order, the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control will coordinate the implementation of the actions outlined in the plan and submit an annual report to the President. Monitoring and evaluation of the executed measures will be conducted by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication based on the State Service's request.
