July, Fineko/abc.az. The easing of geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and the fall in oil prices have reduced investors' inflationary concerns, causing gold prices to rise more than by 1%.
During the exchange trading, the spot price of the precious metal grew by 1.4% up to $4,110.56 per troy ounce, further supported by a 0.3% decline in the US dollar index.
The main driver of the price recovery was the pause in military operations between the US and Iran, which eased the tension in the oil market.
Currently, market participants' attention is fully focused on the upcoming meeting of the US Federal Reserve System (Fed) this week, as the decisions made by the Fed will determine the future trajectory of interest rates and the performance of commodity assets.
