July 27, Fineko/abc.az. In the 1st half of 2026, Azerbaijan’s State Budget revenues from the oil &  gas sector amounted to 8.198 bn manats (0.3% higher than the forecast, but 13.9% less versus Jan-Jun 2025), ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Ministry of Finance.

The share of the oil & gas sector in the State Budget revenues made up 42.7% for Jan-Jun 2026.

Of overall revenues, 1.778 bn manats (21.7%) was provided by tax authorities, while 6,420 million manats (78.3%) was transferred from the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ).

Of the funds received from the tax authorities, 843.5 million manats (47.4%) accounted for SOFAZ tax payments, 730.4 million manats (41.1%) for income tax on Shah Deniz field, and 204.3 million manats (11.5%) for profit tax from the Azerbaijan International Operating Company.
