Iran's oil export earnings exceed $11 bn for 4 months

July 27, Fineko/abc.az. Iran's Ministry of Petroleum has issued an official statement regarding country's earnings from energy sales.

According to Ministry’s report, Iranian oil sales exceeded $11 bn between March 21 and July 22.

Without providing comparative data for the same period of last year, the relevant ministry noted that exports amounted to approx. $8 bn in the previous quarter (from December 22, 2025, to March 20, 2026).

The release of this data follows reports that the decline in country's foreign exchange reserves is attributed to the decline in oil sector's performance.

In previous years, before the escalation of military tensions and the naval blockade in the Gulf of Oman, Iran's annual oil export revenues ranged from $50 bn to $60 bn.
