Russia Extends Gasoline Export Ban Until End of 2026

21:51 - 25.07.2026

July 25, Fineko/abc.az. The Russian government has decided to extend its ban on gasoline exports through the end of 2026 to secure domestic fuel supplies and maintain price stability.

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak confirmed that the export restriction will remain in effect for both producers and refiners. Meanwhile, restrictions on diesel fuel exports are expected to be phased out as the domestic market recovers, preventing excess inventory accumulation and output cuts at local refineries.
