July 6, Fineko/abc.az. A total of 154.659 million manats were returned to individuals and legal entities from the State Budget of Azerbaijan for Jan-Jun 2026, the Ministry of Finance informs.

The refunded finances relate to the refund of VAT paid by individuals for goods purchased in the retail and catering sectors, cultural services (theater, cinema, museum, and concerts), medical services, including hotel services in territories liberated from occupation, and the purchase of goods by foreigners in the country that are not intended for production or commercial purposes.

In addition, a portion of the VAT paid for residential and non-residential premises purchased in cash from construction companies was refunded, as well as other overpaid taxes, state fees, interest, and financial penalties.
