May 20, Fineko/abc.az. Previously, individuals who received salaries in cash and remained outside the social protection system were subsequently included in the social insurance system.

ABC.AZ reports that Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said this when speaking at the dialogue session "Transformation of informal settlements and slums: Providing housing for peace", held within the WUF13.

As a result of this process, receipts increased, and part of these funds were allocated to provide housing for people in need of social protection.

The minister noted that as a result of the fiscal reforms carried out, budget revenues from legalization of employment have more than tripled in real terms.

Jabbarov stressed that this approach allowed both to enlist the support of communities and to create a sustainable source of financing for social needs.
