April 24, Fineko/abc.az. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed an order on additional measures to ensure the operation of the Alat Free Economic Zone.

ABC.AZ informs that the document stipulates the transfer of a land plot with an area of 1,453.09 hectares, located on the administrative territory of Alat settlement of Garadagh district of Baku, for the use of the authorized body of the zone.

Under the order, the specified lands, which are in state ownership and defined as the territory of a free economic zone, are transferred on the terms of one-time, gratuitous and indefinite use.

The Ministry of Economy and the authorized body of the Alat FEZ have been instructed to resolve issues arising from this order.
