April 22, Fineko/abc.az. The Accounts Chamber conducted an audit in Ganja.

ABC.AZ informs that the cost of capital repairs of the housing stock was overestimated by 144,278 manats in 2023 and by 258,198 manats in 2024.

The document states that the re-inclusion of excavation and foundation works for the construction of the Ganja Sports Palace at a new cost led to an increase in the value of the contract by 6.16 million manats. At the same time, the failure to purchase some of the equipment provided for in the project estimates and other inconsistencies led to an additional increase in the cost of work by 3.355 million manats.

The Accounts Chamber also revealed that the volume of work in the amount of 252,700 manats, for which an overestimation was found during the on-site inspection, was reimbursed by transferring it to the State Budget.

At the same time, within the contracts concluded with contractors in connection with major repairs of roads, in two cases, work was completed for 19.912 million manats.
