July 7, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed an order on the execution of the budget of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) for 2025.

According to the document, in 2025, SOFAZ's revenues amounted to 17.16 billion manats and its expenditures - 14.627 billion manats.

During the year, the Fund received 10.266 billion manats in revenues from implementation of oil & gas agreements. Of them, 9.497 billion manats were received from the sale of profitable oil and gas, 765.7 million manats from bonus payments and transit, and 3.6 million manats from acreage payments.

SOFAZ received 8.292 billion manats from development of the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) field, and 958.8 million manats from Shah Deniz field. The income from the management of SOFAZ’s funds amounted to 6.894 billion manats. The yield was 6.2%.

SOFAZ transferred 14.481 million manats to the State Budget. In addition, 18.6 million manats were allocated for the financing of the "State Program for Increasing the International Competitiveness of the Higher Education System for 2019-2023" and 86.9 million manats for the financing of the "State Program for 2022-2028 on Training Young People in Prestigious Higher Education Institutions in Foreign Countries". SOFAZ’s management expenses totaled 40.7 million manats.

SOFAZ's extra-budgetary revenues from the difference resulting from the change in exchange rates reached 20.434 billion manats.

Thus, SOFAZ's overall revenues amounted to 37.594 billion manats.
