April 22, Fineko/abc.az. There are shortcomings in the management of vehicles on motorways.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to bulletin "State Audit" of the Accounts Chamber of Azerbaijan, that the audit analyzed the effectiveness of funds allocated for highways. As a result of the comparison, it was found that in 2024, an average of 17,012 manats were allocated per km of road (excluding pedestrian crossings, tunnels, bridges and overpasses). This figure has hardly changed compared to 17,037 manats in 2023.

At the same time, in 2024, the total amount of revenues from the sources generating revenues of the Highways Target Budget Fund was fulfilled at the level of 506.43 million manats, or 153.5%, with a forecast of 330 million manats, which means an excess of 176.4 million manats.
