April 20, Fineko/abc.az. By the end of Q1 of 2026, Azerbaijani banks’ overall assets reached 57.612 billion manats.

ABC.AZ informs that this indicator means an increase of about 1.6% compared with Q4 of 2025.

30.43 billion manats of assets made up the loan portfolio provided to clients (0.9% more than 29.786 billion manats at the beginning of the year).

The overall assets of the five largest banks - ABB, Kapital Bank, PAŞA Bank, Xalq Bank and Bank Respublika - amounted to 40.82 billion manats (around 70.9% of the total sector). The assets of Top 5 banks showed a rise of about 1.4%, or 555 million manats, compared with the previous quarter.

The banks with the largest assets are: ABB - the 1st place with 14.31 billion manats, Kapital Bank - the 2nd place with 11.8 billion manats, PASHA Bank - the 3rd place with 9.05 billion manats, Xalq Bank - the 4th with 3.02 billion manats, Bank Respublika - the 5th place with 2.64 billion manats.
