April 15, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Mar 2026, the volume of oil transported through the main oil pipelines of Azerbaijan dropped by 31.3% to 6.206 million tons.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to the State Statistics Committee, that 76.9% of all carriages accounted for main export oil pipeline Baku–Tbilisi–Ceyhan (BTC) .

82.3% (5.109 million tons) of oil carried via the BTC pipeline was oil extracted in Azerbaijan, and 17.7% (1.096 million tons) accounted for oil coming from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.
