April 7, Fineko/abc.az. Ayaz Nagiyev, the director of the Procurement Department of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, has left the post.

ABC.AZ reports that the CBA Procurement Department functions as a structural unit of the central office, the main purpose of which is to ensure timely and efficient supply of goods, works and services to the Bank. The Department ensures the development of an annual procurement plan, conducting marketing research, organizing procurement procedures, drafting contracts, creating databases and compiling reports, as well as effective warehouse operations.

Nagiyev was appointed to this position in 2024 by the order of Central Bank’s governor Taleh Kazimov.
