April 3, Fineko/abc.az. Introduction of new mechanisms in Azerbaijan is planned to digitalize credit processes and increase the speed of information exchange.

ABC.AZ reports that the new instant registration system, which provides automation of the credit decision-making process and immediate reflection of data in the loan history from the moment of issue, will be put into operation by Azerbaijan Credit Bureau LLC by July 1, 2026.

In addition, by the end of the year, it is planned to launch a self-restriction service that allows citizens to control their financial activities and impose restrictions on making loans in their name.

It also provides for regular inquiries between banks on lending and financing sources, the results of which, as well as existing trends and analyses, will be available to the public and financial sector participants.

Improving the efficiency of operations when updating collateral and credit information is also a priority.
