April 2, Fineko/abc.az. Chinese companies resold eight to ten shipments of liquefied natural gas in March, the highest monthly figure in history.

ABC.AZ reports that this year, China also shipped a record of 1.31 million tons of LNG (19 shipments), mainly to South Korea, Thailand, Japan, India and the Philippines.

LNG prices in Asia have jumped by 85% since the outbreak of the war in the Middle East. Unlike other countries in the region, China has sufficient gas reserves and can earn money from resale.
