July 9, Fineko/abc.az. The International Monetary Fund has lowered its forecast for global economy growth in 2026 to 3%, linking the slowdown to the consequences of the conflict in the Middle East.
At the same time, the forecast for 2027 is raised up to 3.4%. The IMF noted that, in general, the estimates for 2026-2027 remain close to the previous ones, despite adjustments for individual periods.
