Porsche's deliveries fell by 16% due to weak demand in China and a drop in interest in EV

12:37 - 9.07.2026

July 9, Fineko/abc.az. Porsche reduced global deliveries by 16% in the 1st half of 2026 to 122,300 cars. The main reasons were a drop in demand in China and the end of US tax incentives for electric vehicles.

The strongest decline was recorded in China (–32%) and North America (–13%). At the same time, the 911 sports car saw a 19% rise in deliveries, remaining a key model.

The company notes that the results meet expectations, despite the ongoing challenges in the electric vehicle market and the premium segment.
