April 1, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan will not lower the discount interest rate in its next decisions.

ABC.AZ informs that this was announced by ING Group, the largest financial group in the Netherlands.

The report notes that against the background of current inflationary risks, the CBA has no additional opportunities to reduce the discount rate. It is emphasized that global and domestic inflationary pressures, especially rising food prices and tariffs, are the main constraining factors for monetary policy easing.
