March 31, Fineko/abc.az. In 2025, the direct investments from the European Union countries in Azerbaijan amounted to 1.442 billion manats (31.1% less than a year ago).

ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, that in 2024 this figure was 2.094 billion manats.

The decline is linked mainly with a sharp drop in investments from Hungary and Germany. Investments in Hungary decreased by 64.0% from 1.18 billion manats to 366.44 million manats and in Germany by 65.0% from 75.3 million manats to 26.33 million manats.
