Volume of CBA notes exceeds 1.6 billion manats for first time in 3 years

September 4, Fineko/abc.az. The volume of Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) notes in circulation stood at 1 billion 655 million manats as of September 3, 2026.

According to CBA data, the volume of notes increased by 82.5 million manats, or 5.25%, over the day compared with September 2.

Thus, the volume of CBA notes in circulation exceeded 1.6 billion manats for the first time since September 13, 2023.

Interest rates on the notes, depending on their maturity, were as follows:

28 days — 6.00%;

84 days — 6.10%;

168 days — 6.14%;

252 days — 6.23%.

Thus, the interest rate increases with the maturity of the notes, from 6.00% for 28-day notes to 6.23% for 252-day notes.
